“Stepping out and filming using the new GoPro 3 was better than we thought”
We at Heliskiing Canada commonly shoot as a crew, bringing lots of film equipment to capture the essence of a day in the life of a Heliskiing trip.. This wasn’t that type of trip.
I (Scott Martin) did a solo trip armed with SLR for the lodge and nothing but a GoPro for two days of filming.
The guides at Mike Wiegele were fantastic, working with me to work with what I had, and they were naturally having a such a good time, its hard not to see that in the video… Big thanks to them!
Have a look and tell me this isn’t….. this is “More than a Feeling”
Girls Do Ski Camps
Our own Leah Evans has put together an exciting camp with Selkirk Tangiers for an all Girls event Heliskiing. Check out the article in the Herald!

When you see pictures like this…. well it just screams.. Get me out of the office and into the mountains.
And if you see videos like this…. Well your just gonna have to pretend you didn’t see it or have a serious amount of self control.
Time to start thinking pow.
Best of luck with that!!
Getting a view on a perfect day is just hard to beat.
Snowwater Heliskiing Lodges Nov.15, 2013
Its that time of year when getting images from operations showing off their snowfall gets everyone very excited.
With Snowwater Heliskiing we are especially interested in their images with all the renovations and development its great
to see the changes that have taken place in the off season.
But really… because we are counting down the weeks n days till we spend 4 days filming at this destination.
This is just making it hard to concentrate..
Sometimes “white out conditions” are not what they seem…. Scott Martin is getting completely
dusted in his own turns on a perfect Blue Bird day at RK.
